How Will Bad Credit Affect My Chances In Joining The L.a. County Sheriffs Department Or Any Law Enforcement?
I Have bad Credit, I owe money to collection company’s I have an unpaid medical bill and i owe money to the Long Beach Court house which is the only dept I’m paying for at the moment for a Hit & run accident. I have a valid DL, no felony’s, just a minor misdemeanor which like i said I’m paying for at the moment. In total I have no more then $5000 in unpaid Bills.
My Chances At A Top 20 Medical School?

- vice president & comm service chair of my fraternity –> responsible for organizing our annual bone marrow drive in philadelphia
- worked at the hospital at Penn for 1yr, and children’s hosp of phila for another
- 6 summers of research at NIH, 1 publ paper and presented at annual biophysics convention in Long Beach, CA
- Tutored in west phila for 2yrs, on exec board for org.
- shadowed orthopedic surgeon for 1 sem (class) + got a rec
- volunteered at THE joe frazier’s boxing gym / competed in amateur for a yr (boxing’s my hobby)
- other stuff: amsa, chinese student assoc., circleK, play alot of IM sports
- 6 solid/good recs

What Are My Chances Of Getting Into Csulb (california State University Long Beach)?
I have roughly a 3.0 gpa, 24 ACT score but the only thing is I am missing one semester of Spanish 1 which I got a D in freshman year. My junior year grades were a 3.6 and I am taking a lot of College Prep courses this senior year. Would they really decline me because I got a D one semester?
How Are My Chances For A Good Medical School?
Hey guys, if anyone could give me a realistic assessment i’d appreciate it =D. Im currently an undergrad at UPenn’s school of engineering (BE). My gpa is a cumulative 3.30, bcpm gpa same, and I have an mcat of 40. The story behind my gpa is i basically did well later on (3.9) but did pretty poorly in the middle (< 3.0)
As for activities, Im vice president of my fraternity as well as community service chair. This includes my being responsible for organizing our national bone marrow drive on campus every fall. I also tutor in west philadelphia 2x a wk + worked at the hospital for a year. Im part of AMSA and chinese student association (i kno, padding clubs) as well as volunteering at Joe Frazier's boxing gym. In addition ive boxed amateur for a yr there. Spent a yr at the chilrden's hospital, and have 6 summers of research at NIH (since hs) including 1 published paper in JBC and having presented at the annual biophysics conference in Long Beach, CA.

What Are The Chances Of Getting Into A Medical School If I Go To A Cal State?
As of today, I’ve been rejected to every UC I applied to leaving me the option of either going to a cal state or a community college. I was wondering what my chances are of getting into a medical school and how much harder it would be if I go to a cal state rather than attending a community college and transfering to a UC. Does going to a cal state dramatically reduce my chances of getting into a medical school? My choices for cal states are San Diego State University and California State University Long Beach and if I go to a community college, it will most likely be Pasadena City College.

What Are My Chances For Csu Long Beach?with A 2.75 Gpa And A 1100 For Sat? And With Aps?
2.75GPA from Sophmore to Senior year
I took AP mandarin when I was in sophmore year.. ended up with a B+ and got a 4 on it
I took IB psychology Higher Level through Junior and Senior year. (still havent taken the IB test) have a B- average for it
Took AP Econ on my Senior year and have a B- for it
I do have a Californian Residency (Green Card) although I studied in an International School, I am still considered as a resident since my parents still pay taxes. (My brother was considered one after my parents sent his college about their tax infos).
