Do You Think It Possible That, Say, The Boys High School State Champion In Basketball Could Beat Wnba Teams ?
I know that where I live, in Long Beach CA we have a few teams in the area like Long Beach POLY, Mater dei, Los Alamitos, Westchester, Artesia, & dominguez. These teams are consistently good and I was watching a WNBA game and thought in my opinion the teams I mentioned could beat them,, So I thought I would ask the opinions of others, maybe more qualified than I ? So I can’t wait to hear the opinions. Thank you

Yea probably. Some of those high school guys are big time players in college then in the NBA. Before the rule, in your area there would always be one player coming straight out of HS to the NBA.

If the boys had a good coach who could game-plan to let them exploit their physical advantages they would win very very easily.
Centers in the WNBA are like 6′3″ and usually kinda slow. One athletic guy over say, 6′5″ and the women wouldn’t stand a chance. He could shoot 8 foot turnarounds all day while the WNBA center is staring at his bellybutton.
Or they could press. Guys are going to be bigger and quicker with longer arms and higher verticals. I would bet if the boys went into a full-court press the women would rarely get a shot off.

No doubt man. Most top notch high school teams have 2-3 players playing college ball, and I don’t even think WNBA player could start on a good college team. If a team has good athletes, especially a power forward on center, the women would have no answers. Heck, I bet my school can beat WNBA teams, and we don’t have a guy over 6′4″ (but we’re #1 public school in CCS)

Sorry these Women played against men in college as practice. Grow up playing boys. So they are not soft. Some centers are over 6′3. Their are some 6′4,6′5 and even 6′8. The are not slow and play better ball than some male colleges team. Better shooter and team player. They can some nigh school team and compete with college’s team because they running and gun and miss a lot. The Women play more of a control game. They would win,too/

wnba team played against male college teams during the spring and they won like 99% of the time. if the highschool is REALLY good i guess they could win, anything is possible.
some wnba teams suck though.
