Sorry Boss, This is a fairly crappy section of LB. Long Beach is a strange place in that the neighborhoods change from block to block. This particular address is located in a neighborhood that has gang affiliations with the Latinos, Vietnamese and several with Black affiliations. I have sold and purchased real estate there for years and you still have to physically view the site to determine its suitability. This address is also way to far from the Campus.
Get In touch with LB Brokerage in Belmont Shore. This is a company that did much of my paperwork for me when I was working there and I know that they have an extensive list of rentals. They can help you find a nice apartment closer to the campus in your price range. Their rental agent is named Yevette and she is pretty cool. The tele# is 562-4349911
I am sure that they would be happy to help you out. Tell them that a guy named Randy in Vietnam sent you. That should surprise them! HA good people
