well from Burbank airport
you can go to the Metrolink/Amtrak station
at Burbank airport
then take either Metrolink or Amtrak
to LA Union station,
(hold on to your metrolink ticket
then you board a Red or Purple Line (subway)
take the subway to 7th and metro center
then transfer again to the Blue line -take the Blue Line
to the 5th street and Long beach station
then transfer again to any Long beach transit bus 90 series (91.91,92 etc)along 6th street
your metrolink ticket will be valid for the entire trip
there is an alternete route might be a bit faster
but it will cost more
thats to go the El monte Bus entrance at Alameda
and take either the foothill silver streek (will cost you a $1.00 more with the metrolink ticket),
or metro line 490 or 484 bus to el monte
then transfer again to Metro 577 express (again it will
be extra about $1.00) the 577 goes direct to Cal state Long beach..
